The name Onuka whispers our purpose— O-Nusantara-Kakao: cacao from the archipelago.
It began when we tasted something extraordinary in Indonesian beans, and asked: What if the world knew?
So we built bridges—from smallholder farmers nurturing trees in volcanic soil, to chocolate lovers craving real flavor around the globe.

Our journey begins with sustainably grown Indonesian cacao beans, sourced directly from farmers and cooperatives. Partnering closely allows us to guarantee both outstanding quality and genuinely sustainable farming—from bean to bar.
About Our Founder
By her 20s, Wiwi Paimun had already achieved what many only dream of—managing over 350 real estate properties in Japan, holding a steady, prestigious job in a foreign country, and living a life that looked like success on paper.
But she walked away from it all. Guided by a quiet idealism, she returned to Indonesia to build something more meaningful: Onuka Chocolate—a brand founded on the belief that chocolate should be good for you, the farmers, and the planet.
As a chocolate maker, Wiwi brings precision, contemplation, and deep respect for nature into every bar. Today, Onuka has its own store in Canggu and is proudly distributed in 35+ locations across Indonesia, Taiwan, Dubai, and Australia.
More than a product, Onuka is her way of telling stories through flavor—honest, slow, and full of soul.
