Why a Barfight?

We call it a barfight because we fight with what we make best—chocolate bars. Onuka’s Special Edition Mighty Cranberry Dark Chocolate carries a self-exam guide in every pack, so a gift becomes a tool. Share it with someone you love and start a life-saving conversation.

Why We Need 1,000,000,000 Messages

People often need multiple exposures before a message truly sticks—commonly cited as about 7 touchpoints. To engrave early detection in Indonesia’s collective memory, we repeat the message—again and again—across families, workplaces, schools, and communities.

  • Repeated exposures (~5–9) build familiarity and recall.
  • Our rallying cry: One Billion reminders across the archipelago.
  • Every shared post, gifted bar, and conversation moves the counter.

How to Perform a Self-Check (5 Steps)

Do this monthly—after your period, or on a consistent date if post-menopausal. Self-checks build awareness and do not replace clinical screening.

BSE Step 1

Raise your left arm behind your head (to examine the left breast more easily)1

BSE Step 2

Using the pads of your right fingers, gently feel your left breast.

BSE Step 3

Move your fingers in small circular motions covering the entire breast area (from the outer edge to the nipple) and armpit. Check for unusual lumps or thickening, changes in skin texture, or swollen lymph nodes.

BSE Step 4

Gently squeeze the nipple to check for unusual discharge, dimpling or puckering of skin changes in shape or color.

BSE Step 5

Lower your left arm, raise your right arm behind your head, and repeat steps 1–4 using your left hand.
